I don’t think you understand what “data”, “beautiful”, or “proof” means. But the entire argument hinges on the idea of establishing a trend looking at only the first couple years of the sample.

Since this is quite a mishmash and quite loudly a priori in favor of particular policies, I don’t think this meets minimum requirements for this sub.

Mars is about the size of the moon. But it has more dry land than earth. That’s because Earth is an ocean planet.

Your contempt for humans doesn’t match with the incomparable coöperative effort it would take to terraform Mars — a task for which we have a word but no actual concept of the scale of the project.

Homo Sapiens Sapiens looks to be something like 300,000 years old. That’s very young as species go. Before (and a while after) that, there had been other Homo species for about 4,000,000 years.

H. Sapiens spread across the earth in a couple tens of thousands of years. But aside from little variations, there’s not a ton of evolution happening. We’re all H. Sapiens Sapiens.

> The dark mood started three weeks after the riot when it suddenly emerged that Enrique Tarrio, the group’s leader, had himself worked as an F.B.I. informant well before he joined the Proud Boys.

> Mr. Tarrio was not at the Capitol on Jan. 6, having been ordered by a local judge to stay away from Washington after his arrest days earlier on charges of illegally possessing ammunition magazines and burning a Black Lives Matter banner after a pro-Trump rally in December. He is currently serving a five-month sentence on the charges.

So. Is your argument that:

  1. The Proud Boys were not involved
  2. The Proud Boys are actually part of the FBI
  3. The FBI was actually behind the riot

Sound right?

Or is it a simpler explanation that the FBI was slow to react because of its general doofiness?

One day, you will claim that things were different back then, but you’ll be wrong.

And you’ll say that you didn’t believe the things that you believed.

And that you didn’t support Fascism and an overthrow of a legitimate election but you did.

And you will try to explain it to you children and grandchildren, and you won’t know why they have stopped coming to visit you.

My earlier post was removed for its excessive brevity, but I feel strongly that sometimes brevity is the soul, nay the very essence of wit; and therefore I ask you to consider if, in fact, I was not merely incisive when I asked, “Bot much?”
