How do you feel the utopias and clears compare to each other?

I can't compare to the HD800s but I'd say the OG Clears just are HD6XX but better. I wouldn't call it different in really any way either. No trade offs in any way except price. Bass was the most noticeable improvement.

If you wanted different, then I’d say you made a better choice. To me, the OG Clears are an HD6XX on steroids. It just takes everything and does it a lot better.

I’m in the same boat. OG Clears felt like a perfect upgrade across every aspect. Now I’m looking at Utopias and my curiosity is growing.

Yeah I've heard the MGs are different. I was able to get a set of OGs from the headphones website, so the cheaper price ended up selling me on them. Can't say I'd go for them at the original price.

Went with Clears myself after reading about it as an upgrade to the 6XX. Definitely felt that way after having them.

You got awful advice. HD6XX with a schiit stack is really tough to beat on value.

Not sure how well that one works but it seems recommended often. I ran a schiit stack. I see tubes recommended often for the HD6XX but haven't tried them. I don't think there's a wrong answer, just all about what you like best!

It's always been that price. At least for a few years. I don't remember drop being much cheaper.

You can check out EMU Teaks. Might be a good option for you and can be ordered directly still from EMU.

The weight isn't enough to really bother me. And the pads are more comfortable. I found it overall nicer to wear for extended durations.
