These "jumps" are really scary on skis. Once you've committed you just hope you have enough speed. Knowing how to bail really helps. You would think slower is better generally, but faster means you have more horizontal velocity so even if you overshoot your landing you will generally bail and slide/roll. Nothing scared me more skiing than falling straight down like a rock.

Wife and I just took out a personal loan for 10k to pay off a credit card which has gotten up to 11k. We understand finances and pay attention to it. But 2 kids demand a lot more attention and money. Paying twice my mortgage per month for daycare. $600/ week for 2 kids attending daycare 3 days a week. Spent $25k on daycare in 2022, dependent care FSA only let's you save $5,000 pre-tax. Meanwhile churches operate tax free in this country.

yeet according to Merriam Webster
It is in fact a real word, and a beautiful one at that. This cat threw itself with force, and suddenly. Self-yeet fits.

Well for one thing the exercise ball would be slightly easier to hit size wise.
Next question.

And typically a new reality. Reality is what we perceive about the world around us. There is cause and effect and then there is how you perceive having a flight canceled after waiting on the tarmac for 3 hours. Same reality, but not everyone on the plane feels the exact same way about it. Yes it would suck, and yes I wager everyone on the plane would be mad or distraught or disappointed, but out of the 300 people on this plane, someone is not letting it ruin their day or attitude because it was out of their control. That person has shifted their reality to better fit their expectations without necessarily lowering them.
