Absolutely hardcore Windows Fan but damn even I’m tired. The amount of Win11 un-installs had to do for family… the work that goes into keeping our servers running.

Their announcement back then to not release Win11 made me cheer since it significantly could reduce permanently effort when it comes to helping end-users. Instead we now get Win11 AND the Win Server Version after 2022 "will be closer to Win11“

I’m at a point where I gladly would support switching most of our systems but windows dependencies especially in businarea is just so brutal..

Well it’s hard to integrate a 12 year old long term. Newts role in 2 was great but what should they do? Copy & paste? Risk of making her an even more badass character which might result in the same criticism that star trek TNG recieved? A kid smarter than everyone, solving every problem etc

Not a hardcore fan but .. it does really sound better. Alien can meaning anything from xenomorph, independence day aliens to E.T. or maybe Paddington.

However Xeno already has this dark vibes swinging with it. While most people obviously (hopefully?) know Xeno just means "foreigner“ so people should hopefully recognize that Xenomorph is just slang / combo to describe a foreign thing that well .. morphs, drastically changes it’s form/mutates

Even if not. Still seeing a lot potential since it allows to minimize wasted space and allows to easily lay pipes etc. for cables and so on.

Yeah that’s probably you. I hate watches. And I use my phone enough on work, if I come home it often enough ends up in a corner. I was mobile game .. addicted.. long enough to make that decision.

Also all that you said would require me to be there. Live. Things like Alexa work even if you are not there or others can use it rather instinctively.

I stopped using sentences and mostly using keywords and routines that I created manually. Increased the experience significantly.

I don’t think it’s a „every task should be done through „-thing but rather increase the experience of what you have or make some things like setting a timer easier.

For example, I got a routine that turns off all lights I might have forgotten, turns on a playlist with calming music and sets a timer to stop the music.

Regulation of the brightness of your lamps. Dimming. Or color changing is a nice feature too and I know I would use it less if I would need to use a button on the wall. Also a routine that turns the lights on 20 minutes before it gets dark. With a fixed brightness is cool
