Vollig los gelost if you want the original, Peter Schilling
But in that vein, Nena, Tokyo, and Mondsong,
Tears for Fears (or Gary Jules) Mad World.
Gary Neuman, Cars Pink Floyd, Keep Talking and Comfortably Numb
I'd say just check out some 80's new wave. A lot of them have that feel.

Let the Right One in, was done pretty much shot for shot remake, originally done in Sweden. The American remake was awkward and lacking, whereas the original was a masterpiece.
Remakes are pointless and often strip the original charm that made the film interesting in the first place.
There's also The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series. Those remakes lacked so much of the emotion the original films conveyed.
The Animes... let's not go there.
How many times are they going to re-do A Star is Born, or another Disney property?
How about this... What original story have you read that you'd like to see brought to the screen??!

Linden is pretty Conservative to a yikes degree.
Bellingham is Liberal, considering it's a college town.
This is just personal experience.

That's very optimistic, considering there's not a days worth of stuff to do there, unless you really like the very small logging museum and general store.
Regardless, I hope you have a great trip.

Well, it is just a clattering, cacophonous, collection of junk!
My husband always mentions the wheelers, and how much they scared him as a kid. They creeped me out so much. However, think I see where they got the idea from, so that's cool!

Definitely getting "the wheelers" from "Return to Oz" vibe off of these.

Reply to I'm wondering if anyone will get what I mean when I say... There are a lot of truly psychopathic drivers on I-5 between Vancouver to Olympia. by midgethemage
I'm reading the comments that this has been worse since the pandemic, but I definitely dealt with it before. I used to drive to Bellingham frequently for class, and it was over an hour drive there and home every day. I had to through I-5 and into the Skagit Valley, and I always had people play games. I didn't always notice it until I looked over and people are making faces at me. I'm not a bad driver, I'm told I'm not, anyway.
I just like to get where I'm going and avoid the semi-trucks, apparently some people think that means they should keep me from passing, getting over - I've had to hit the breaks so I can get behind. I've had people try to race me - a lot. I've had one person block a two-lane road all the way back to the main town, and do their best not to let me pass, while continuing to go ever slower, for no reason - and when a car was coming towards me, they wouldn't let me get back over to the right side. This was all pre-pandemic. Thankfully, I am done with that commute.

You're already going through Mount Vernon, hit up Deception Pass Bridge go down Whidbey Island, and take the Clinton/Mukilteo ferry, it'll spit you back out near the I-5 and go East from there. The views are really pretty and it won't really take too much extra time.
You'll pass right by the Boeing facility too.

Reply to comment by DevinBelow in Is there any other way to name a band? by PhireDawn
I was just going to say, we would open up a dictionary to random pages to make up band names. We had some pretty fun ones.
Grab a couple old books/dictionaries/thesaurus and throw darts, see what you get.
Or pick favorite phrases from books, songs, or film.
