This is exactly what I meant. I got on the bus and the driver was like, “i’m not going all the way.” But she didn’t know anything other than that. She didn’t know alternate routes, etc.

And then at her last stop, a supervisor came in the bus to give her her new directions and then told us, “you can try and take this or that bus to try and get downtown.”

Like, where is the…just a hint of organization.?

Depending on your insurance, I’d look into Kolmac. Their IOP program is really good. Currently transitioning out of it, but i wouldn’t be sober if it weren’t for them.

My suggestion: Keep your phone charged, run on well lit streets that are at least occupied with people or businesses because they most likely have cameras pointing outside. Also maybe through a busy intersection here or there, also for cameras. Pre map your route and let people know about it. Maybe ride a cap share bike around to map one out.
