Yes.

Lots of water is stored as snow, not as water.

The central valley aquifers will never come back, and terminal lakes like Mono are also drying much faster than one rainy season can fix.
It's raining more this week, and snowing in the sierras!

This is really interesting!
It seems useful to understand more about lots of things...
-
Which countries have well-developed top-flight leagues capable of keeping their players. (Look at England, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Surprising [to me] are power houses like Argentina and Brazil.)
-
You can also see the reach of the Premier League and Bundesliga to get players from across the world. (I was surprised that 11 countries field players from the MLS.)
-
Some countries field a very disparate team. (The Italian game is played different than the English and different from the Germans.) Does that have any impact on success?

So that would be for perpendicular incidence. Yes?
If the waves are approaching almost parallel to the surface, wouldn't they "see" the atoms much closer together?
Maybe if you could only reflect for less than 1% incidence, but you could put ~180 of your mirrors?

You neglected to mention WHY they were removed...
They made countless fish and wildlife extinct or nearly so.
The vast majority of those hundred you mention were very small.
