Good luck sustaining economic growth when you're facing famine and droughts every other year, as is already starting to be the case in the Sahel now and is likely to spread elsewhere if we don't all start caring about the environment. Africa (particularly sub saharan) will sadly be hit far harder by climate change than the US will.
