The other rather disappointing aspect of this noble endeavor is that many Baltimore restaurants seem to be plagued by inconsistency. Going during busy times like weekend nights when the A Team of staff is likely working might help avoid this variable

Terps Sports Bar on Charles st has some banging garlic parm buffalo wings. Excellent taste, excellent value.
29th street tavern also has great wings for a reasonable price, and I love the atmosphere and the cheap beer.
