When I worked as a tech specialist, I would bend over backward to make something work out in your favor if you weren’t an asshole to me. We were hardly discouraged from doing that so long as we communicated with the techs in back about it, and didn’t abuse it. Stuff is expensive. Things happen. We’re human, too.
