Yes.
Good life advice in general, but especially useful if you have roommates or kids around who you wouldn't want to hear

While it's true that a significant portion of our power grids energy comes from natural gas, it's also true that power plants are far more efficient at turning fossil fuels into usable energy than a car, which spits most of its produced power out the tail pipe (heat).
In other words, even if 100% of our power grid was fossil fuel based, by producing the power in plants instead of in your cars engines, it would still be a net positive for the environment as less fuel would be used to power said cars.
We do need to find better battery types than lithium while this transition happens, however.

What specifically happened toward the end when he got several (like 6) faults jumping one hurdle? One fault per leg that touched the hurdle or something?

Can someone who understands dog agility contests more explain to me where all the huskys faults came from? It looked like several times he jumped a hurdle and would get 4-6 faults from it. What am i missing?

He spoke at my college (maybe both of ours if the timeline works out) like 6 years back. Can confirm the book is a great read, and he's really a pleasant person to talk to as well.
