Glad to hear you had a positive birthing experience at Waterbury Hospital. We had both of our kids there and it was pretty bad both times, especially with the second.

Everyone please post your daily usage in this thread. Mine is 26 kWh per day and I am locked in with the Constellation rate of 13.5c per kWh.
$102.05 for supply and $85.73 for delivery = $187.78. Totally reasonable.

Reply to The inventory of houses suck by KindaEgotistical
Is this your first time house shopping? The only people listing their homes in Connecticut in January (or really anytime after September 1st) are people getting divorced, foreclosed on, moving for a job etc.
This is for lots of reasons:
- most properties don't look their best in the fall and winter
- people don't want to move during the school year if they can avoid it
- no one wants to move around the holidays.
You will see a significant increase in inventory around April 1st.

Family name:
“Mary Mahoney left her home in County Kerry, Ireland in search of the American dream; she met and married Art Blackman, a Waterbury native. Together they bought a couple of acres of land on the Cheshire/Waterbury line. Their dream was to own a business and by 1925 they had opened an unassuming gas station. The Blackman’s gas station was a gathering spot for friends and neighbors; soon they were serving hungry patrons hot dogs smothered with the Blackman family’s homemade relish.”

Reply to Apologies for yet another thread on the new electricity rates coming our way, but for anyone who has yet to switch away from Eversource, I just did it and it took all of two minutes and will save my wife and I tons of money by mikemikemikeandike
If I do this so I still pay my bill through Eversource or through Constellation?

It's especially off putting when I hear about our friends experiences at Yale and Mass General. You'd think they were 5 star resorts compared to WHS.
