I remember an anti-satellite system being used and thinking it was a bad idea. One test ended up generating 40,000 pieces of debris of 1cm and more rather than one bigger piece.

Sushi for me.
Made it awkward when I was at a party at the Japanese embassy a decade ago and what seemed to be the only food on offer was sushi. Saw another guest with some tempra chicken and found out there was one piece on every platter when taken out so I waited by the door for the next one to come.
The sushi looked great but I didn't want to trigger any gag reflex in front of an ambassador!
