Cars are always running the light at Marin and Morgan Street. I wait a few seconds before crossing because it happens every time without fail.

So are red lights apparently. People always try to beat the red at the Marin blvd and Morgan street intersection to the point that I’m overly cautious crossing there and always wait a bit longer after the light changes.

The fireworks were being set off from inside boxes or crates, I couldn’t really tell because I was watching from my window

Journal Square is a bit over 15 min from Manhattan - I’m looking at the app now and it gets to Christopher street in about 20 minutes so I’m not sure why it’s taking you 45.

See if there is any advice in this sub or ways to sign up for clubs and what not so you can meet people. Moving to a new place is a huge adjustment. I felt the same way but it does get better.

Something like this happened to me (a friend) and the police told us that we couldn’t file a complaint because my other friend kept responding to the texts (she’s confrontational). That was in Pennsylvania. Not sure where you are, but basically leaving them unanswered would’ve helped us.
