Back in the day I would take dates to Coffee Exchange on Wickenden st in providence, or dinner then up to Pastiche for dessert.

I will never understand the love Felicia’s gets. All of the coffee takes on the flavor of the gross “flavored” coffees that they sell there, their baked goods are sub-par and there are always flies in the bakery cases. Never again.

Right down the street from there is Coutu Auto repair. I have used them a few times and find them very honest and they do solid work.

Kalus’ comments about never supporting “tax payer funded abortion” (amongst other issues) is a dealbreaker for me. Tax-payer funded abortion is code word for lots of things, including the healthcare plans for RI state employees, the largest employer in the state (for better or for worse.) So her policy would impact a significant number of women’s abjlity to secure necessary healthcare services.
