Nah, people like him deserve to be ridiculed. Along with his parents who raised him to be that way.

Helping incite a violent insurrection isn’t exactly “having a different political opinion”. It’s not like the article is about his opinion on the tax rate.

Most of the state outside of North Jersey is unwalkable suburban sprawl.
Though most Shore towns are pretty walkable, as much as locals try to fight it.

Decades of building nothing but suburban sprawl and 55+ retirement communities has made NJ unattainable for anyone except car-brained Boomers.
Look at the comments of any news article about a new development in the state. “What about the parking!?”

I remember the noise of the cars from Raceway Park, on a windy day, was heard clearly from my parents’ old house on the easternmost end of Marlboro. We could also sometimes hear the foghorn on the Raritan River from time to time - also not super close by.

I can’t believe it’s been around that long. I heard that on TV and the radio well into the 2000s.

Reply to Noticed South Jersey has a lot more “straight” roads compared to North Jersey by darkflame927
A lot of the straight roads in Atlantic County are the ghosts of Egg Harbor City. It was planned to a major metropolis and port city along the Mullica River, and grid-style roads were platted from the Hammonton to Galloway borders. Most of the roads were never built, but a number of “main” roads were.
Those roads are identifiable because they all have German names (like Leipzig Avenue or Duerer Street).
