Agreed, this is fairly standard for a juvenile prison cell. Especially when compared to a segregation cell the one featured in the thumbnail is pretty comfortable.
Justin has actually since been adopted and is doing great now. As for other kids who are spending their youth behind bars, I agree. A lot of times it begins with the communities that they are raised in and the lack of resources present in those communities to thrive.
They did get in trouble for various crimes with different sentences, yes. There is more information in the video description that describes their sentences.
Colt is out of prison and doing very well. The other was sentenced to 60 years in prison at age 15 for the shooting death of another teen. Since being locked up he has earned his GED, and is now running the prison’s addiction program and working as a barber.
