Really in this case it would be more like the Big Coverup, which is certainly a name that does not imply anything negative.

Excellent. The turnpike should be covered as much as possible. No reason to have a pit through the city.

Considering it, but I'd have to remake the elbows. Maybe some time in the future.

Opposite experience here, I find Boston to be much more walkable than the West Coast. The roads are narrow here and you can walk across the street whenever you want.

Honestly if I had thought of it two weeks ahead of time instead of the night before, would've just ordered a couple pairs of these and it would've been way easier.
Not sure what I'm gonna do with the wooden arms now lmao just going into a closet I guess.

I went to a dozen or so retail spots, Spirit was practically empty, and none of the regular outlets would sell me their mannequins for some reason, but I ended up getting four hand mannequins at Blick Arts in Cambridge. Tragically, after constructing four arms out of wood, one of them broke, so I will park this costume for another day. If only I had thought about it a few weeks in advance instead of the night before...

Was gonna be a humanoid octopus with four arms so I'd have eight limbs total. Unfortunately, while I did manage to get four wooden hand mannequin things, and construct several wooden arms with joints, one of them broke, so I had to park this costume for another time.

Sounds good, I'll check out Spirit and some mall outlets tomorrow.

I am a resident of DTX. It's not the local residents as a whole, it's the weird dweebs who show up to these meetings. Dweebs have an advantage because they enjoy tracking when these meetings will happen, they enjoy going to these meetings, and they also dislike people doing other things. Meanwhile people who like to do things have to divide their time between doing things and all the energy it takes to battle dweebs.
Consider when El Jefe Tacqueria was prevented from opening until 2AM because it "may disturb students." It certainly wasn't the students, who actually live there, who stopped that from happening.

We need to take the French approach and just close the doors on people.
