Reply to Which movie has better 2 hour non-stop violence? John Wick 4 or Mad Max: Fury road? by MinuteSolid8821
John Wick is a great action movie. Fury Road is a nearly perfect movie of any genre.

There’s two motifs within the soundtrack. There’s the typical orchestral score that is more traditional, and the thundering, ominous electric organ sound that punctuates specific parts of the movie. I assume what you’re referring to is the latter.
It’s not meant to be a moving, emotional piece. It’s a raw, guttural reaction. It’s all together foreboding, terrifying, and resonant. It definitely took me by surprise the first time I heard it, but as the film progressed it ended up being almost like a callback of sorts. Like you’d almost forget about it, then the organ would hit and you’d immediately be taken back to that feeling of dread.
I really appreciated a totally different approach to scoring a war epic, and it’s one of the most memorable aspects of the film in my opinion.

Real world class journalism there.

I’m honestly so happy for Brendan Fraser. I can’t wait to see The Whale and EEAAO is my movie of the year so far.

This ain’t clever, and people think way too much about people who don’t think about them at all.

That’s a lot of words just to say, “People have different opinions on things.”
