Thanks for correcting me, I wasn't sure on the specifics, I knew it was related to oxygen in a way. I appreciate the explanation that's really interesting.
I guess I was just a little amused by the implication of Giant Humans or something from the initial comment lol. Like no, we weren't 10 feet tall humans years ago, I'm pretty sure that's confirmed.

It is well known and established that insects and other creatures were larger during dinosaur times because there was more oxygen in the atmosphere, amongst other things. Pretty much everything was bigger because it could absorb more oxygen and nutrients from the environment.
Human or proto human sizes have changed but we're taking like 100k years for humans, not 300 million years ago. As far as earth history is concerned, humans haven't been around long at all and haven't seen much change. Obviously we see change, but mother earth time is a different beast.

An Iranian drone front will move in during the overnight hours before mild to moderate Belarusian missile storms emerge in the afternoon.
10 day forecast: partly Russian.

I work for local government and don't even connect my personal phone to the building wifi. I'm not doing anything I shouldn't, but I value my privacy and try to stay away from my personal phone becoming public record.

Reply to comment by Initial_E in When this bridge in Fort Benton, Montana, USA was built 1888 it was required to have a swing span to allow steamboats to navigate. It was considered the furthest navigable point on Earth, more than 2,700 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. by triviafrenzy
The bridge isn't the very end of the navigable limit, it's just the last bridge that is needed to let boat traffic through on the navigable stretch. I assume the river becomes impassible not too far upstream from the bridge.
A canal is not natural and many of those we have today did not exist at the time referenced in this post. At the time this bridge was built, there was no point further from an ocean outlet that you could feasibly navigate a boat to without crossing land.
It's not true anymore since there's a shitload of canals elsewhere and there are dams on the Missouri river preventing moving further upstream.

Reply to comment by mtarascio in TikTok to set default daily time limit of up to 60 minutes for minors by [deleted]
First of all how is the age confirmed? I've never used TikTok or most social media but can't you just say your birthday is 1/1/1970 when you set it up? And second, how does the minor account under 13 even get linked to a guardian? Does the guardian set the passcode when the account is made and their kid brings the phone over? Couldn't the kid just make up their own pretending they're a guardian?
I'm also slightly concerned about how many adults, especially ones who dgaf about their preteens on TikTok, use one pin for everything. It seems like a great data point to gather if you want to add to your database tracking anyone anyway anywhere you can.
