Is there any way we can get away from the massive "too big to fail" banks? Isn't that the more major problem?

There is also something to be said to hold onto good workers if you think you will need them in the near future. Treating highly skilled workers like seasonable mall Santas is not good either.

At some point we just mine the landfills.

Not sure how true this is, but I watched something on YouTube about how if the ecology of the soil is right you don't need to worry about its mineral content because all of the worms, microbes, and fungi are constantly breaking down the sand and rocks releasing all the minerals plants would need.

My mom was a nurse for decades and is adamant I "pull the plug" if the time comes. She got all of the legal papers drawn up too. She's terrified of being put on some machine for any length of time.

With aging Boomers, there really should be a public campaign promoting adults and their parents discussing what the parents want for their end of life care and getting the appropriate legal documents. It's irresponsible for an adult to go into their senior years without a plan on what they want in the event they get dementia or something like that.

I mean a fleet of Ferraris and nice houses are cheaper than many peoples medical bills. That doesn’t mean everyone can afford to buy water filters.
