People talk about trying to "find themselves" or to figure out what they inherently want, what their inherent values are, etc., which all requires having the sort of "self" you're insisting people don't believe in.

Never heard of this before, but Neptune's Pride has a similar vibe, specifically like playing Diplomacy PBP. It's all alliances and backstabbing, and it takes many IRL hours for ships to move between star systems and for research to happen. Games can potentially last a month. Playing it with people you know is a nightmare since real life continues on as you all erode each other's trust.

In high school, in my IT shop, we made flash drives with auto-run batch files that would open and close CD drives over and over again. It would keep making new instances of itself so you couldn't stop it by just closing the console window or anything. It was a fun way to prove how easy it is.
