The East-West rail Alternative 4/5 Hybrid included travel times of 1 hour and 37 minutes between Springfield and South Station, with stops in Palmer, Worcester, Framingham, and Back Bay.

You might want to do some introductory reading about this project before you make ridiculous false claims like "5 hour round trip". The East-West rail study included both travel times and potential ridership, but you clearly didn't read any of it.

Talking about something you don't even have a basic understanding of is foolish and embarrassing.

Thankfully, Massachusetts and Amtrak are already applying for federal funding for more train service between Western Mass and Boston in the short term!

Arguing against public transportation in a traffic-choked state like Massachusetts is ass-backwards. Telling people to "just drive" when we're not and never will be building new roads and highways to facilitate this traffic is dumb as hell.

>you don’t have the perspective necessary

You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. It’s absolutely ridiculous seeing a teacher try to tell a young person that they “don’t have the perspective necessary” when talking about whether young people use “y’all” or not nowadays. As if you have a better perspective on youth slang than a young person does, LOL.

As a young person, I can attest that young people absolutely do use y’all a lot more nowadays.

Maybe your students don’t, but that’s completely anecdotal, and you (should) recognize that.

Your comments always seem to have this oddly hostile & condescending attitude, it’s weird and unnecessary as hell.

This attitude is exactly why we are so deep in a housing shortage. Because people want to nitpick every development and hold them to unreasonable standards.

We need all kinds of new housing, not just affordable housing. Setting unrealistic quotas for affordable units only makes new housing more expensive to build. We need to remove barriers for new construction, not create new ones.

Dude, chill the fuck out. You already lost the argument, just accept it. Throwing a temper tantrum isn’t going to change that.

I know you are going to try very hard to get the last word in, but it changes nothing. The teacher is absolutely trying to force her religion on people who do not want to partake, and it’s absolutely not a problem for someone to say “oh my god” like you keep trying to imply.

You are clearly on the wrong side of this one, no amount of arguing or freaking out is going to change that. Grow up.

You are advocating for replacement bridges without the iconic and visually impactful features of the bridge. Then you go on to say “everyone is happy”. What a bunch of BS.

You must underestimate how many people love the look of those bridges. Maybe you would be happy with the replacements, but saying that everyone would be happy is laughably incorrect, and even that is an understatement.
