Listen here OP. It’s a defense mechanism. That’s why your mother saw scars. It’s probably something they let other people see because as you have noticed people don’t take too kindly to people mocking those with different appearances. They seem to want to feed on people with faces. Be very careful. Who knows why you’re the only one that can see them. Is there anything, any reason you can think of? Weird stuff happening in your life? A strange event?? Anything??

If your dog is okay, let him in. If you do have a concussion, be sure to sleep for only short amount of times. Take pain killers but not too much. Figure out some way to wake up every hour/half hour. Head injuries can be very very serious and it’s optimal to have someone there ti wake you up to see if you’re alright. If you seem to not remember stuff more and more then it’s serious.

Alright so the memory issue of Damien is definitely real then, but now my question is, could any of their memories come back? I won’t recommend wanting to get Damien’s back (and I definitely support you in wanting to stay with him!!) but maybe your brother could get hypnosis or some other kind of therapy? And maybe it wasn’t Damien himself either. Maybe you should find a specialist of the occult and look around if anyone knows what could have happened to Damien or what Damien is. If he is anything find out how to “deal” with him. What are the rules for his being? What triggers him (aside from you being away)? How can you find loopholes around these triggers? What happened with what you described could be excused as him having mental problems but I am worried about the way you described it; it just didn’t seem natural. With that, it seems like a HUGE coincidence that the business stopped when you married Damien. So I’m curious as the reason why.

Also one more thing. I’m not saying you should, but if you leave him make sure to do it VERY safely. And don’t forget about protecting your family and friends either. It seems he’ll not live without you anymore no matter what it takes. If it comes to that then please be safe. I wonder; did you actually ever get proof Damien was his boss? Maybe the job did have something to do with him or people like him but idk… Do you think it’s Damien’s doing your brother doesn’t remember him anymore? I don’t see how it could make sense but still… maybe he does remember but it’s just like a cover. If he does not remember then how could he have something to do with your brother not remembering him, thus erasing his memories of what your brother knew about him so that you won’t find out? The way your brother acts just seems very suspicious to me (not in a bad way!!) he’s always uneasy around Damien as if he knew something you didn’t. And he showed up at your house probably because he knew about your vacation and how Damien would cope. I really think your brother knew and wanted to protect you, but maybe his job prevented him from talking about it?

It’s so flippin annoying your brother doesn’t remember Damien. He seems to know what’s going on. Maybe try if he has anything written down or stored away on Damien before he lost his memory?
