Going to the police is not a wrong. Not goingis wrong, you should report a crime as soon as you can. To be the bigger person you first of all have to follow the law. You can't let a wrong slip through, especially if that's not just any wrong, is litteral theft, you must go to the police if they keep saying they won't give you the money back
