I hate phone calls. I had issues last year with MassHealth (login/profile/other stuff), couldn’t resolve it online. My boyfriend told me he always just calls and it doesn’t take long and they get everything sorted. I finally called and got everything sorted and enrolled in a plan in less than 15 minutes.

They will be able to tell you the status of the application and everything. If you need documentation for approval or anything they’ll be able to tell you.
