Our house is creeping up on a 115 years* and it gets damp in ours. We're super super downhill though. We just don't keep anything near the one wall.

*an estimate, apparently before 1910 hard to tell how old a building is.

As a question (a question is not a challenge)...

I thought you didn't want to block off moisture coming into the basement because the hydro-static pressure will eventually start to push the foundation? Basically better to have wind blow through the sails then move the boat.

Only reason I ask is I had all our gutters and downspouts redone and, sure as hell, still getting moisture in the basement. Pretty much just resided myself to this fate. If you're saying there's an alternative, that'd be great news.

I'll cosign that as long as the theory makes allowances for other sub $10 pizzas? I'd personally take a well-done Antoon's over Little Ceasars. Last time I checked they were roughly the same price (like $7ish).

But yeah, totally agree.

And as you get older it becomes a little less about the money and more about the calories. Like if I'm getting pizza and putting 1,500 calories in my body in a sitting... It's gonna be worth it.

For the hundredth time, we're not going to go to cousin Glen's turkey farm in Devonshire. I get that him and Lisa are on the outs but like...

The "kill your own gobbler" concept just doesn't appeal to most people. He gonna make me smoke my own bacon too?

I think he should have stuck with his original idea to resurrect Papan's Family Restaurants in that old Pizza Hut in Bethel Park.

Phone book, if you can find one.

The main thing that makes you cold in the stadium is the floor. The concrete structure has an enormous thermal mass and it will leech every scrap of heat from your feet.

Putting your feet up on a phone book will slow the transfer down enough that you can spend all that time and your feet won't get too cold. You can pitch the phone book on your way out.

Any of the gas stations that have Turners and/or Schneiders usually have egg nog. I've honestly been getting it from one of the places for the better part of 30 years.

In fact, in my experience, if you want a smaller container you're better off not going to a grocery store since they tend to carry the larger sizes.

I worked there about 10 years ago. No way to know what the additional pay would be like without knowing the exact branch.
