I can neither look up or down that one when I'm on it and I've been riding subway escalators over 60 years. It's a doozy.

I had a friend who lived at 300 about 40 years ago and it was kind of sketchy there then; haven't been back since. I'd suggest walking around during the day and times you will be walking there if you move in.

You can feed any zip code into city-data and get crime stats for that area.

Warren Zevon - The Wind. His doctors told him he was dying and he decided to write and record one more album with the time he had left. He just made it. The songs are mostly about the end of life.

Look up the zip code of the area you want to live in on city-data and you can see the crime stats there.

If you can, get ahold of the latest Beatles documentary "Get Back" and watch how Paul McCartney and John Lennon wrote a song. There's so much trial and error. Even if they don't have lyrics, they substitute other words until they find something that rhymes/makes sense/fits the space.

I've got news for you, a lot of people aren't stopping for red lights - all over the place! As for the double parking in Inwood/WH, it's been that way for decades.

Some people complained that they'd come back to their cars and there'd be some kind of ticket on it.

Supposedly, they started sending people bills for the parking. Haven't confirmed that.
