Yes clearly it's ridiculous to fantasize about being rich enough that you can only get gag gifts for Christmas because you buy whatever expensive things you want whenever you want, and to live in beautiful palaces where you never have to clean or cook for yourself but you still could if you wanted to.

How utterly ridiculous to be fascinated by these real people whose every waking personal moments are on display for the entire world to analyze.

Because some people who aren't even alive anymore did bad things that directly or indirectly benefited most of us.

I've also seen people spell it G.od!

There's a Jewish lady I follow on Youtube and while I'm not Jewish myself, I try hard not to write God when I comment on her things because I feel it's respectful to do so, even though it's not my belief that it needs to be "censored" (in quotes because I feel like it's weird to say it's a censor)

I don't know if this one you can check out from the Internet Archive Library is the original, but it doesn't have any copyright date other than 1936 in it. It's certainly at least old.

Now I have an anecdote, the only person I've ever seen reading that book in real life was the absolute worst roommate I ever had. Here's a free tip - you don't win friends and influence people by accusing them of deliberately making you miss class.

Sort of related: does it make anyone else insane that there's an actual company named Soylent that makes some kind of beverage? Seriously why the fuck. I know it's probably not made of people but I don't want to try it anyway.

To answer your question, I feel like Troll 2 would be fantastic to get remade with a bit of a rewrite. The premise is actually pretty interesting, right? A kid is forced to vacation in a bizarre town where his sister's friends keep going missing, the ghost of his grandfather is trying to save the family but the kid is the only one who can see him and isn't believed by the family, and it turns out the town is inhabited by goblins who turn people into plants to eat them. I think it could make a good intentional horror comedy, with some script polishing (and with letting the actors give feedback that the script doesn't make sense).

Mr. Snuffie was ALWAYS able to be seen by everyone. He wasn't invisible, he just had bad timing, and after 15 years of people basically gaslighting Big Bird the writers decided to get rid of the whole lesson of "sometimes adults won't believe the truth no matter how distressed their disbelief makes you".

Everyone always complains about Netflix music replacements but I actually have never even noticed when there was one. Just people being like "ugh they removed XYZ from episode Whatever!" and I'll be like "It sounded fine to me though?" One of my favorite songs from Scrubs turned out to be a syndication replacement!

I just want to compliment you on being so kind as to spoiler mark the episode. I hate the attitude of "well it's old, you don't need to mark spoilers." People don't deserve to have plot twists spoiled for them just because something is old. We aren't all able to watch every tv show and movie as it airs, it's unfair to expect people to just deal with being spoiled before just because something came out 20 years ago.

God, does ANYTHING please you fucking people? Oh no not a completely optional way to watch something you otherwise might not have chosen yourself that you could easily stop watching if it sucked! Why can't they just make a streaming service that only has every episode of The Office and films that came out a day ago but only the GOOD ones and it should be free and have no commercials and not have anything that other people might like because it should only have titles and features I personally like!

I don't think it's a stupid idea at all. People always complain about how there's so much content on streaming services that they just scroll for 30 minutes before deciding to watch something they've seen 100 times already, so a shuffle button that just takes you to something random so you don't have to pick is a good idea, if it was implemented well.
