Tom Hardy was equal parts terrifying and comedic in this role. This role showed the “level” he can act on.

Not a movie but the main character of Peaky Blinders is basically this. Tommy Shelby is practically immovable—at times.

I have levels as well.
Top tier: I give it a “movie theater” experience. No phone. All attention on the show.
Mid tier: like Top but with some phone play if need be.
Low tier: the show is basically background noise with a occasional check in. Usually a show I’ve seen a thousand times.

The sheer build up and execution to the Watchers of the Wall is enough to qualify it alone. But I also love everything else about S4 as well.

Heck no. Spielberg has a few “big things” left in him I think. The guy is to industrious to not give a few more bangers.

This show is all about the characters and their chemistry—IMO.
You could know every detail about the plot but miss out on the interactions—which is the real gem.
