If it was made like the macbook pro power cables from 2014 onward, the outer sheath will begin to decay within 2 years of use. I've been through 3 power bricks because of that, on my last presently on its record breaking run but has multiple gaps in the outer layer (exposed conductor). When it fails that sucker is done, not buying more Apple stuff.

Mine have been on the fence for some time, I ordered mine around 2019 IIRC. If I bump a connector (randomly) one side goes dead. Sounds good, headband and ear cup fit is awesome, sadly their QA is crap. I'm eyeing Neumann nd30's or nd20's right now.

I recently bought an LD systems PA for sound stuff so can't drop any funds on that so far.

ouch.. at 4k US dollars I could think of a few dozen better things to spend on but hey if you got that much to burn good for you.

Given sundaras fascinately dodgy track record for build quality, i really wouldnt trust them to put a swivel in at risk of it becoming yet another point of failure. The quality of the internal connections is bad as is.

Dt 770 had severe clamp pressure for me compared to the sundara, the head band barely fit on Bd compared to hifiman which was roomy Pad comfort way & clamp pressure better on sundara but the padding doesnt bounce back much in between uses. I have 62cm head ovoid-ish ( i have to keep track for helmet sizing on motorcycles).
