I'm curious what their response was..if they allow this, that's pretty cool. One issue worth checking is whether they would reject because there's already too much solar generation on the grid in your area. Not sure if that's an issue in Vermont, but I've seen a LOT of solar go up here in the last few years. Only a good thing! Though they may need to upgrade infrastructure to ensure your new generation gets where it needs to go

I don't even have a dog but I like learning about how things work, and being in VT this is relevant because cold weather obviously affects things quite a bit. Sure it's a doggy door but the concepts can be considered more universal than that, so thanks. And good luck with your install

Similar deal.. definitely was on my mind for early AM trail runs solo, but not enough of a deterrent to ever stop me. And most of the time not something I was too worried about. More likely to trip and fall. Grizzlies would change my habits. But cats? Let's gooo
