Push # or zero repeatedly when the robot talks. That usually gets me a human operator.

I’ve got two Swing-A-Ways that are still going strong after 30 years. The company was sold some years ago and of course quality nosedived. But there are vintage ones on eBay.

Thanks! I’m getting one for Christmas.

I got a pro-grade stainless immersion mixer from Webstaurant for about $60. And I’ve bought bulk food and spices from food service companies.

We got a set of revereware copper bottom pans as wedding gifts. I never could use the fry pan because everything stuck. I tried adding food cold, hot, greased, bare. I’d love to try the AllClad D5 since cast iron is heavy at my age. It really doesn’t stick?

For years I bought the black, crew length socks in XL for my son (shoe size 15). The last two packs I bought were marked XL, but he couldn’t get them on. I was so disappointed in Dickie’s!

I hope you’re right, that we’re headed back to a repair economy! I haven’t seen any signs of it, but fingers crossed!

That’s sad, because Kirkland brand is usually really good. I won’t gamble on replacing the sheets there.

Just threw the bottom sheet out of a Kirkland set I bought ten years ago. They were like $65 for king size, 600 thread count. I’m sad they’re worn out, but they were great sheets. I saved the pillowcases and top sheet to use with other sheets.

When I was drying blankets, I put a few drops of lavender essential oil on the dryer balls. They tumble and spread the scent.

I have a Vicks vaporizer/steamer that’s face sized. I add liquid Vicks to the pads inside and breathe. It got the family through covid in June.

My in-laws had one of those in the 80s. The steam warped their upper cabinets and then it stopped working. They must have gotten a lemon!
