The house was built in the 1960s and a couple of the windows are original. So literally anything would be an improvement on what we have lol

Unfortunately we bought our house knowing a lot of it wasn't updated. That's why it was such a good deal. It's going to be painful, but it's becoming more and more obvious how necessary the windows are

My house is 1690ft^2. We try to keep the temp around 68°F. We're gonna get new windows because all of ours are garbage, but that's gonna be a $10k expense 🤮 our furnace is also from the 70s so I'm sure it's not super efficient. I want to add more insulation to the attic too but my partner and my dad don't think it will help (I don't think it could hurt but what do I know)

Ugh, I used LESS gas this year than the same time last year, but had to pay $100 MORE. I nearly choked when I saw my $400 bill

I'm a mailman. There's a development of condos and apartments that's been built in our town over the last ten years. My coworkers call it Whoville. My first time there it really did have a creepy/unsettling feel, like the condos went on endlessly in all directions

Reply to For those worried about the PA Supreme Court’s ruling on undated ballots, it may be of some relief to you that this year’s ballot envelope is VERY unambiguous. While I personally find the ruling utterly preposterous I’d also say that the ballot itself is competently designed to compensate for it. by Trapezoidoid
I'm a mailman and I saw my FIRST incorrectly filled out envelope today. My customer managed to write the date underneath the line? But still within the box. I left them a note suggesting they fix it, because an error could cause their vote to not be counted... We'll see if they confront me at the mailbox tomorrow

Yeah, I'm in Luzerne county and mine looked like the 2020 ballot

I had to Google it too because I hadn't heard it before seeing it on political ads. Apparently there was some snafu about a non-profit he started and a dispute with the county or township about taxes. It was less than $10,000 and he paid the taxes. This was over 10 years ago. It is a difficult thing to find information about online

I went to IUP and every student got a photo ID. It was your key card, bus pass, and (apparently) legal photo identification. It's not like plastic cards with a magnet strip are expensive

It's most likely cross-contamination. Your average drug dealer is not following laboratory cleaning or food service allergen protocols between products
