I did too. The last time this was discussed the general opinion was that she's primary disliked by the original viewers for whom the "annoying younger sibling" archetype hit too close to home.

Doran Martell's actor (Alexander Siddig) as well IIRC. I believe he was pitched the book version of the character and was disappointed with what ended on the screen.

One thing I can compliment Amazon on is the X-ray feature. Makes learning who the characters are on a new show way easier.

I didn't watch the last season (or the last two - it's honestly a blur at this point), but from what I've watched no. It's clear the writers didn't know what to do with it once they got past the book.

Lost. I got to season 5, but it just got too annoying following several different timelines and time travel shenanigans, especially since I didn't find the "big mystery" terribly interesting in itself.
