For farm shops I always liked Whitney's, though it certainly isn't cheap. A lot of general stores in this area have been closing down lately unfortunately. There are a lot of good farm stands scattered around in the fall though, my personal favorite is one not too far from the airport.

It technically wouldn't take too long to get a license assuming that you can meet the requirements and pass the tests.

Assuming you are over 18 all you need to do is:

1. Get a learner's permit (requires taking a multiple choice test on Massachusetts road laws and a vision test)

2.Schedule a driver's test (which requires getting access to a car that meets the requirements and a sponsor who needs to be 21 years of age or older, have a year of driving experience, and possess a valid driver's license in any US state)
