That is a simple thing for you to say. I have to buy flood insurance. Through private company, it costs $3300 a year. Through FEMA, it’s over $8000. Any explanation you would like to share why there is such a difference?

Too bad you don’t understand how people exploit and make money while working in the government.

It’s cute that you think that people in government and politicians don’t get kick backs. All you have to do is see how much money all these people make while they are in office. They get it in a lot of ways, for doing favors for big business. One hand hand greases the other. And there are so many places on the FEMA flood maps that have never flooded in history. They are taken peoples unreasonable fears of climate change and exploiting them for tons of money. If you honestly don’t believe that, then you need to pay attention more.

Simple, they adjust the flood maps so more people have to get flood insurance, and those who have it have to pay more. They don’t adjust them because they think there will be more flooding, they are adjusted to make more money.

That wasn’t a warning, that was a cash grab by FEMA.

Sitting in the waiting room at the RMV is something to do also, doesn’t mean it’s fun. You can’t suggest someone that is coming from far away in Canada to go see the bruins, and has 3 days in Boston, to go to a Boston Pride game. If no one here goes to the games, why would someone traveling from far away want to go.

Spring training is a bit of a commute. Fort Byers might be too long of a drive.

Kinda thinking she is not traveling to Boston to see a Pride game with 200 other people in attendance.

Everyone should go see the statue in person. Then look at it from behind. Then report back.

The league averages 7000 people a game. The median attendance is about 5k, and the my team gets less than 5k. Nobody will go, because we have plenty of other world class options. The little league World Series is for about 2 weeks in the summer. Just like people watch in bigger numbers the woman’s world cup(tiny compared to men’s still), but nobody cares about a league season. I know you are a fan and that’s great, but there just isn’t enough fans for these leagues to make a profit.

You are in such a minority. It’s the same problem the wnba has. What you are watching with wnba is a basically division 3 basketball at best. Women’s soccer you are watching teams that could not beat under 14 boys team. So the appeal is for women to go watch, since men want to want men compete. Problem is, women generally are not interested in sports, much much less then men. So nobody will go. Sad but it’s true

you would be lucky to average 5000 fans a game. Average attendance in that league is 7500. Most teams get less then 5-6000 fans a game, and here in Boston it will be on the low side. Just too many other major sports to watch, and no one is going to go to watch a team that would lose to an under 14 boys team.

White Stadium seats about 10,000 people. Way too big, you need something that will hold about 2500 people max.

There are a lot of ways around regulations, you should be so naive. When programs like this are set up, they are taken advantage of and people exploit money off of them. For every study saying there is going to be 4 feet of sea level rise over the next 30 years, there are others that say it will be negligible. Seeing that sea level rise has been negligible for the last 100 years, I believe what I see. But you believe what you want. Just funny that you believe politicians are honest and they earn their money fair and square. Haha
