It's fully possibly to achieve what you want without evicting or financially debilitating 2-3 families, but okay do you.

Please don't do that right now. The prices are astronomical and you will have no choice but to evict the current families who live there or double their rent to support your inflated mortgage (thus forcing them out). Most multifamily renters are FAMILIES. The cost of renting a 3 bedroom in Providence has gone from roughly $1200 to roughly $2400 in less than a decade and I assure you most of our salaries did not double. Furthermore these houses are all about 100 years old, loaded with lead and asbestos and need a ton of work. Whatever price you're looking at...add 80K.

The Guyanese roti at Pan a Day is closest to authentic TnT roti I've ever found in New England. Guyana is technically South America but culturally they're more Caribbean than Latin American. Camilla cooks all the good stuff, roti is on Tues/Thurs I think but they've always got good curry, jerk chicken, oxtail etc. The Large plate is like 20 bucks but she loads those plates up. You can feed 3 ppl with a large if you get some sides like Beef Patty or empanadas. Check it out you won't be disappointed!

Food for the Soul is the best soul food in town. GeeGees and Kin are okay but the portions are small the prices are high, and the food is lightly seasoned to appeal to the suburbanites who wear Tom's canvas shoes.

If you want the real deal, served in a Styrofoam to go box with a free slice of homemade cake and the familiar ambiance of Gospel music played from a cassette deck you should check out FFTS.
