I wouldn’t say it’s “overhyped”, because it really is a neat little town, but it is expensive and often very crowded.

It’s literally just a novelty that’s fun a time or two. Way too expensive, nothing to do but spend money, and the food is all the same. It sucks that it’s such a gimmick that people fall for because the surrounding mountains are absolutely gorgeous and that’s the part that’s worth seeing.

My mother in law buys cases of water but also refills the bottles with tap water. It’s the most frustrating thing because she brags about how great their water is because it’s from a well. Like why bother paying for shitty bottles then??

I see them most often at Millersylvania State Park down in Olympia. They’re my favorite snail species. I have seen them in other places but most often at MSP

It really depends. My sister in law was in a similar boat and I’d say 50% of the time she got carded she was denied.
