You're aware that the bail is given back if they don't run, correct?

Bail serves no purpose except to cuase poor people to lose their jobs for a crime they have not been convicted of.

It's already paid for by the tax payer. It's the existing police force. Literally nothing new will be provided for with bail money.

Everything, and I mean every resource I think you'd reasonably use to catch a non-violent suspect, has ALREADY been paid for.

We already pay the people who would do that work whether anyone runs or not.

Hitler wasn't really that smart. He had a few smart people around him but in the end he mostly chose crazy, yes-men to listen to. I mean think about his strategy going into the war. It was basically just... hit them really fast before they can react. "They" being most of the other world powers all at once. He started losing as soon as the opposition forces got their feet under themselves.

My job requires a lot of walking. 30k steps minimum a day. Honestly I've never felt better.

Even then.... that would be a surplus 20k for much of the US.

As someone who isn't going to just immediately tell my kids santa isn't real.... that tax money pays my bills back to current most years.
