Reply to This larger than average (for LA) spider I found in my bathtub when I went to take a shower this morning by finnjakefionnacake
A fun thing to think of. Most bathtub spiders are male, and they go looking for mates but have poor eyesight, and think the drain is a possible mate. So, as freaky as they can be, most of them are just horny little teens out for a shaggin

Maybe yes, maybe no. Its recyclable, so it shouldnt be an issue. Now whether those facilities exist is different

Reply to Reading classics in their native language? Thoughts and suggestions - Dumas and Hugo by TegisTARDIS
Maybe try to ease your way in by reading a book meant for YA readers. Itll be interesting without diving too far into language that is antiquated. You could get yourself up to speed that way

I read the lines til a stopping point, or the entire verse, then go back and read the notes. They provide cool background info, or why a word choice was made because translators have to fudge the language sometimes. Dont try to stop in the middle of a sentence for the notations, itll screw up your ability to understand the story
