Something I'd like to see studied - whether or not the perceived shortening of attention spans can be in any way attributed to ignoring online ads, like tuning things out until the ad is skippable.

It's a fun thought, but Baumgartner was practically stationary compared to the ground beneath him during his jump. By comparison, astronauts on the ISS are moving over 17,000 miles per hour relative to the ground below with no way of slowing down enough to land safely other than atmospheric braking.

Yeah, utility companies are pretty terrible about starting points and property corners. What's with that? I was doing title searches in a small town and by the time I was done, the county gave me a month of free deed copies in exchange for my legal descriptions. Because they were accurate compared to the railroad and electric company markers. For the the square mile around the town square. That next year the tax assessor's database was correct for the first time in a century
