Very hard to recommend without knowing your budget but Anthem House/McHenry Row/Porter Street apartment buildings in Locust Point would be some of the easiest commutes for you.

I loved Blob’s Park! I think the family that owned it now owns the Bavarian Brauhaus in Hanover but I’ve never been; seems like a more typical sit-down restaurant.
