Driving Along the highway near that town the outside air temp in the car was 55-60 degrees. You break down without water and shade you're dead in a day or two. Pass out on the road you're burnt in seconds and dead in minutes. Neck deep in the motherfucking sea at the beach and still sweating because the water in the bay was about 35 degrees.

People in that region are known to switch off their water heater and reverse their taps in the wet season. I saw steam from the cold tap at the end of the season, the rocky ground heat soaks. Poor people go to the shopping centre and just sit inside during most of the day, because they can't afford to run their A/C.

It's so hot it's torture. It's utterly inhuman to roast people like that. This was being talked about 20 years ago, I can't believe they still haven't done anything.
