That’s unfortunately been the trend for a lot of media discussion online, but yeah GoT shit is just on another level. And it just dominates the subreddit

The opposite end is people gassing up HotD to the point where any criticism at all is going to be immediately controversial…

For my money they’re two flawed but overall pretty good shows that are ultimately very different, and as a fantasy fan I’ve thoroughly enjoyed having both. Just wish it was easier to have a good faith discussion about either online
