Crack the Skye by Mastodon. Not only is it a great concept but the album is indirectly about the drummers sister named Skye who committed suicide as a young teen.

It's 18 minutes long and quite the ride.

Also Neurosis-Away is another good one.

I Am Legend. Without a doubt. The story is completely changed and while I think the movie was good in its own right, it should not have been named the same as the book.
