I was really young when my mother would watch the show, and covered my eyes during suggestive sex scenes and the beheadings. I have fond memories but I haven't gone back to watch, if I'm being honest. However, I remember them being aliens at one point, or did that get retconned like a lot of shows that era did (SG1, Xena, etc)?

I don't think there's much info out there in general other than "it's happening" and "Cavill is Connor." I just personally don't think Hemsworth can pull off a serious role. But hey, big chance the movie isn't actually happening at all anyway, this is Hollywood after all and the rumor mill is always churning. And to your last point, couldn't they be from anywhere... In the universe iirc?

I don't honestly know if Henry Cavill can pull off the groundhog-esque features required in the remake. I guess we'll have to see how their makeup team does the effects.
