Nothing like some good old fashioned self-loathing then? 😂

I HATE the cold (it makes everything hurt and walking a nightmare). However I am also very painfully aware of what it means for our planet.

I grew up chasing Monarch butterflies by day & fireflies at night. Now I barely see either, and it’s just an awkwardly warm winter.

Behavioral addictions exist & are every bit as valid.

My mother growing up was literally addicted to video games. She would be anxious if away from them for too long. When the computer didn’t work she had a melt down.

It’s not the same as a chemical dependence but it’s the same brain structures involved.

I feel like we are heading to societal addiction if we don’t change things now- i always think I’m bad… but then I see friends & everybody is on their phone… dead silent.

The Fillmore has been the only venue I’ve been to where I was told to throw my Epi pens out “because they had a needle”. I carry abortive and life saving meds on me and they told me, even in proper packaging, they were not allowed in.

I could see how that same, poorly informed management could be a hassle in an emergency. Unless they were going to do compressions and breaths until services got there? Somebody had to. I hope she is okay. :/

They really need to look at how they handle events.
