133 club seemed to be an older crowd last time I popped my head in. Definitely more of a bar but they have live music and pool tables.

edit: I just wanted to add since you're not much of a drinker you could try an art class at the Steel yard or one of the clay studios, or check Meetup.com for a group that lines up with your interests.

Idk about 'just' MA but Worcester used to have a company that made them so they're all around.
