CNN could save so much money if they just hired me to read their prepared talking points and celebrity gossip. I will work for the bargin price of 100K a year and deliver the same low ratings that Don Lemon and Jake Taper give them. Not only that they would save money on wardrobe because I could just wear off the rack from JC Penny or Burlington Coat Factory.

Wonder why/how this show got Greenlit at all. The CBS Boomer audience was never gonna go for a trash reality show, and the GenX/Millenial/Zoomer viewers who do watch trash rtv have no attachment to a network show from 40 years ago.

Reply to Why don't the other networks promote their shows the way NBC does ? by vanillathebest
BBT and The Middle for example are owned by WB and stream on HBOMax ,it wouldn't make sense for those networks to promote properties any more that make someone else money.
You are right about New Girl though,it's owned by 20th century fox so they should have every fiancial incentive to try and keep a social media presence. Even if the show doesn't end up on one of their streaming services, the more popular the show is on Netflix the more money they can charge them. Not to mention the show probably works better as a binge streaming show then it did as a weekly network series during it's initial run.
